Section 1: Sites With Information Directly
Related To Employment and Employment Agencies. |
R.E.C. REC (The Recruitment and Employment Confederation) is
the UK's trade association for employment agencies. The REC helps to make sure
that all REC members (PSR has been a member since 1993) work to an approved and
high standard by adopting the REC's pretty stringent Code Of Good Recruitment
Practice. Their site also has information about improving your interview
technique, fascinating stuff! |
The Benefits
Agency - General Benefit Information Are you in the Benefit Trap? Your benefit needn't
necessarily stop when you start working.....the Government has policies to help
out part-timers and low earners so check out this site to find out what
benefits you might be able to claim whilst you are working. |
The
Department Of Employment Home Page The Department of Employment and Education's Home
Page is an interesting place to find out what incentives might be on offer if
you're returning to work after a spell of unemployment. Also the site has some
general employment regulations and equal opportunities
information.

| Section 2: Other Agency Sites in the U.K. (Yup, we're not
afraid of competition!) |
Just click on this
link and be shocked and stunned at the list that will
appear! There's a
lot of competition between employment agencies in the UK but, in the spirit of
friendliness (and to the benefit of anybody looking for a job) here's a
comprehensive list of all the UK agencies (we think) with a presence on the
Internet. |
